Checkers — also known as draughts — has been played across cultures for centuries. It is one of those rare games that takes only minutes to learn yet can take a lifetime to truly master. When the team at Pixelboard Studio sat down one afternoon to play a few rounds online, we were frustrated by how many sites required downloads, registrations, or were cluttered with distracting content.
That frustration became the spark. We decided to build the cleanest, fastest, most accessible version of Checkers available anywhere on the web — completely free, no strings attached.
Pixelboard Studio is a small independent game development team based in Amsterdam. Our team of five developers and one designer poured careful attention into every pixel of Checkers Master.

Checkers Master follows standard international checkers rules on a traditional 8×8 board. Pieces move diagonally, captures are mandatory, and reaching the opponent's back row promotes your piece to a powerful King. The interface uses intuitive drag-and-drop controls that feel natural on both desktop and touchscreen devices.
